Adult Basic Education 

Part of West Lothian Council's service. Their aim is to work with anyone over the age of 16 who can set goals to improve literacy and numeracy skills or who is experiencing hearing loss and wishes to learn lip-reading skills. Provide a free service with access to workshops, short courses and ongoing individual learning.

Child Bereavement Trust 

Helps support grieving families and children when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying, or when a child is facing bereavement. Support line, resource material, extensive links.

Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre

Making the internet a safer place. Useful information.

Childline

Supports Scottish families under stress, protect children from harm and neglect, help them recover from abuse and promote children's rights and interests.

Citizens Advice Bureaux Service in Scotland

Helps bereaved children deal with the loss of either a parent or sibling by providing support, information and advice. Website has different zones for kids, teens and adults (including school teachers). Resources included in each zone.

Pregnancy Crisis Centres
