Al-Anon

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) Regional - West Lothian Intergroup

The West Lothian Intergroup website lists the meetings within this intergroup. Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is concerned solely with the personal recovery and continued sobriety of individual alcoholics who turn to Fellowship for help. Castle Craig Hospital

Residential centre for alcohol and drug therapy. Website has an addiction information and resources section aimed at helping people are suffering from alcohol, drug or behavioural addiction problems.

CrossReach

Social care and support service by the Church of Scotland. Available to all people in Scotland.

Families Anonymous

Offers meetings, resources and services for families who has a member with a drug problem. Helpline number 0207 4984 460

Family Support Addictions  

Part of VOCAL the Voice of Carers Edinburgh and Midlothian. Provides support and information to parents, friends, partners and other family members in Edinburgh who are affected by someone else's drinking and drug use.

Guide for Veterans

This Guide for Veterans contains resources that provide Mental Health, Housing and Financial support available to veterans / ex-servicemen. It also provides information about 'Jobs and Training for Veterans', 'Scholarships for Disabled Veterans', 'Help for Injured Veterans', 'Help for Blind Veterans' and 'Help for Carers of Injured Veterans'. Plus 'Information on Armed Forces Pensions'.

Hope UK

A drug education charity which works to equip young people to make drug-free choices (including legal substances like alcohol and cigarettes) by working with groups and individuals in both formal and informal settings.

Narcotics Anonymous (NA) United Kingdom

Non - profit fellowship for those with a major drug problem. Recovering addicts meet regularly to help each other stay clean. NA Helpline: 0300 999 1212

National Drugs Helpline

The National Drugs Helpline gives information and advice to anyone in the UK concerned about drugs. Email available through website.

Notre Dame Centre

Provides services and support to vulnerable children, young people and families.

Rehab 4 Addiction

Founded to assist those affected by substance misuse and their loved ones. Offers a range of services, and signposting to treatments. This includes alcohol rehab, drug rehab, detox services, intervention, aftercare and outpatient counselling.

Provides information on services, local support and a Helpline.

Stop The Deaths

Campaign to help stop deaths due to drug overdose. Provides information so that you can recognise the signs of an overdose and what you can do. Also provides links to 'Local drugs services' and the 'Scottish Families affected by Alcohol and Drugs Helpline'.

United Christian Broadcasting (UCB) Prayerline 

Telephone team that will pray with you and for you. or you can submit your prayer request by filling in an online form.

West Lothian Drug and Alcohol Service (WLDAS) 

Provides - information, advice and support plus counselling and support (confidential and non-discriminatory services) to reduce substance misuse related the harm caused by drugs, alcohol and tobacco to West Lothian residents and communities.
