A carer lead organisation campaigning for carers and their needs. Many useful health and care links. Well laid out fact sheets.

Contact the Elderly

Supported by a network of volunteers, this national charity organises monthly Sunday afternoon tea parties for small groups of older people, aged 75 and over, who live alone. Offering a regular and vital friendship link every month.

Grass and hedge cutting for the elderly (WLC)

Home Safety Service for the Elderly (and Frail)

Independent Age

Established voice for older people, their families and carers. Provides services, such as befriending, to promote wellbeing and reduce loneliness. Offers free and confidential advice and information.
